'The Natural History of Sheppey', Volume 18 of the Kent Field Club Transactions (272pp) has now been published.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust are looking for volunteers to help out with monthly Beewalks at Milton Creek Country Park, Sittingbourne. This site has already produced records of Bombus humilis and Bombus muscorum, two of Kent's rarer bumblebees. If interested, please contact Richard Comont at BBCT
