vegetation that has developed on sand dunes formed over the past 50
years and afterwards for marine recording on the foreshore. Meet at
14.00, by the steps down to the foreshore by the public toilets, park
wherever possible in Botany Road or Percy Avenue or the unmade road

Saturday 11th. Rectory Park, Horsmonden, TN12 8EH. An opportunity for general
recording at this private parkland estate comprising a mixture of grassland and
woodland habitats. Meet at TQ702386, access is via the drive, which has oaks on
the right and a hedge on the left. Leader: Melissa Murdoch.

Saturday 21st. Luddesdown Vineyard, for botany and general recording of chalk
grassland restoration meadows on Henley Bank. Meet at TQ670662, in Luddesdown
village hall car park. NB. There will be a short but steep walk through the vineyards

Saturday 14th. Stream Walk community garden, Whitstable for mini-bioblitz, all
records required especially invertebrates. Meet from 10am until 1pm but please
bring lunch to eat afterwards with kindly provided refreshments. The garden entrance
gate is at TR11086623 along Stream Walk, between Cromwell road and Old Bridge
road, with limited parking spaces in Old Bridge road and Whitstable station is nearby.

Saturday 23rd. Stodmarsh NNR. We have access to privately owned land to view
field signs of Eurasian beaver and collect all taxa records to assist with site
management. Meet at TQ221609 in the reserve car park NB. Attendees are
limited to 15 and car sharing will be required to access the recording site.

UPDATE!!! There is a massive pothole at the Well Wood car park entrance! It is navigable with care and there is a warning on the gate about the pot hole! If people are worried about parking there, there should be street parking in Birch Tree Avenue just before you get to the car park.
