Kent Naturalist, volume 2

Kent Naturalist is the new journal of the Kent Field Club, and is sent free to Field Club members in the spring of each year. A limited number of copies are also now available for purchase. Volume 2 includes the following long papers: Reassessing the status of black-poplar in Kent with DNA fingerprinting and analysis of historic data, Amphibian diversity at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus, Branched shanklet in East Kent. Plus there are reports of the club’s field meetings in 2024, weather records for the year, and reports on fungi, marine algae, vascular plants, grasshoppers and allied insects, beetles, butterflies, flies, sawflies, bats, mammals, and marine invertebrates. 234 pages, and printed in colour throughout.
