Cliffe Pools RSPB ReserveCliffe Pools RSPB for invertebrates and general recording. Meet at the RSPB car park at TQ723760. The intention is to survey the interior of the western end of the reserve, including the created sand flat habitat. However whether we drive through the reserve to the western end will be dependent on the condition of the track. Please be prompt as if we drive to the western end we will need to enter through a locked gate. Leader: Grant Hazlehurst - please message in advance of coming |

Moth morning at Downe HouseMoth morning at Downe House. Meet and parking at Down House Car Park TQ43184 61104. Set up around 7:30pm on the Saturday and to meet at 6am to explore what is in the traps; Leaders: David Newman / Bob Harrop. Contact either of the leaders beforehand as security need to know who is attending and there will be a need to be off the property well before it opens to the general public. |
Beginners to a particular field of study are very welcome at all meetings. Also anyone thinking of joining the Club is welcome to attend a field meeting, no prior notice is necessary. Kent Field Club field visits and indoor winter meetings are free to members (except the annual Wildlife Conference)
Please bring a packed lunch to all full day meetings. All field meetings start at 10.30am unless otherwise indicated.
