Rose Hill House, Key Street, near Sittingbourne for general records. The grounds and ruins of Rose Hill House, a former hunting lodge and woodland.

NB. Walking access is by two short, quite steep, tracks.

Mopesden wood near Hawkhurst, for bryophytes and general recording in this gill woodland with sandstone rocks. 

Meet at TQ745306 in the car park of Hawkhurst Community Hospital, entrance off the north side of A268.

NB. It is about a kilometres walk to the woodland from the meeting point.

Stone Bay for a joint recording meeting with Shoresearch. An investigation of the chalk reef that lies below the sandy shore in this bay just north of Broadstairs Harbour.

White Chimney wood near Benenden for joint meeting with Kent Botanical Recording Group.  An early meeting to record woodland ferns in this Local Wildlife Site on Tunbridge Wells sand with a deep gill.

Meet at 10.00 am at TQ7830 3227 where we have kind permission for parking by a cottage on a gravelled parking area along the private drive to Great Nineveh. Limited parking, please car share where possible. Leaders: Stephen Lemon (07771 760079) & Sue Buckingham (07971 230840).

The Kent Wildlife Conference, now in its sixteenth year, was created as a way for field naturalists in the county to meet, learn about and discuss the county's wild plant and animal species.

You are welcome to bring displays or other information about work relevant to Kent natural history, and we especially welcome posters detailing recent research work.

The Conference will be held in the Grimond Lecture Theatre 1 at the University of Kent's Canterbury Campus, Canterbury, CT2 7NZ. Free, ample parking is available all day in the main visitor car park on site and there is a frequent bus service to the university from both Canterbury East and Canterbury West railway stations.
