Sunday 15th November, 10.30am Nashenden Valley, Medway, for fungi.

Meet at Stoney Lane ME1 3QJ, off Maidstone Road, Rochester, TQ 73853 64511, W3W awake.grapes.pages, where there is parking on the left-hand road verge.

The wood is quite hilly, with some distinct habitats including a damp low section with elm, hornbeam, sweet chestnut, oak, hazel etc. (typical finds include Cholociboria, Rhodotus, Cortinarius, Tricholoma, clavarioids), a big area of beech (Candolleomyces leucotephrus found last year), and a higher up section with pines, yew and cypress.
