Field meeting at Grosvenor and Hilbert Park, Tunbridge Wells

A small group of Field Club members braved the summer heat to visit this diverse area of urban parkland on the 14th July.

While there was much to look at in the grassland areas, with many species of bee and grasshopper, it was the wet woodlands that held the greatest rewards; Wood Horsetail, an uncommon plant in the South, and the tiny ladybird Clitostethus arcuatus.
